Stone Veneer of Existing Brick in Park Ridge

The clients wanted to find a cost effective way to modernize their house and make the home maintenance free. They also wanted the project completed by a specific date when they had company coming from overseas. Finally the client wanted the stone and the siding to be in the cooler color range.

The clients found North Star Stone through a Google search looking for a stone siding contractor. We met at our showroom in Libertyville with siding samples and reviewed the many stone colors and equally important the shapes and sizes of the stone.

The clients selected our Olde Lede Stone in the color of Smoke.

From the time we met with the clients to the time the project was completed was about 6 weeks and the project was completed before the company arrived.

Olde Ledge Stone has longer and more textured pieces of stone which are very attractive on one story homes. The monochromatic color of the Smoke color worked very well with the Royal Blue siding.

We did need to saw cut the brick on the corners at the front door and the windows. A skim coat of mortar was applied to the existing brick before the stone was hand installed with a mortar joint.

The client called us and said they loved it and was what they were hoping for.
